Job description
Working as a Consultant for Ce-Tec A/S at a Danish Oil & Gas Company.

Job and service dimension
You will have the overall responsibility of the Structural Inspection Programme on all the above water primary, secondary and tertiary structures including flares, risers and caissons on the offshore installations.

You’ll be defining Inspection Scope and identifying the Optimum Inspection Scheme.

The position involves a close cooperation with the offshore assets, and especially the dedicated Site Inspector as well as with the structural design discipline engineers within engineering department and vendors.

Finally, you will be responsible for HSE onboarding and mobilisation of Inspection personnel.

Activitites

• Responsible for the Structures Inspection programme
• Define the inspection scope and identify the optimum inspection scheme
• Conduct detailed planning with the Inspection Contractor
• Provide input to the Planning and Schedule processes
• HSE onboarding and mobilisation of Inspection personnel
• Liaise with Site Inspection Engineer and offshore Site Inspector for execution of inspection activities
• Analyse, validate, and complement as required the site inspection reports, and ensure proper feeding to the RBI Management System
• Ensure structural evaluation of inspection findings
• Maintain the Inspection Database up to date
• Define repair/replacement scope and ensure proper remediation with other entities (Maintenance and Construction)
• Close out notifications and work orders upon completion of work scope
• Provide input to the monthly inspection report (including KPI definition as per affiliate and HQ requirements)
• Keep track of anomalies and contribute to the regulator derogation process
• Contribute to inspection audits
• Provide budget input and cost control of associated inspection activities
• Primary workplace is Britanniavej 10, 6700 Esbjerg, Denmark
• The working schedule is typically five (5) days per week from Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

Background/Qualification/Experience required

• Most likely a background within structural engineering, mechanical engineering or NDT inspection
• Seasoned relevant experience within structural inspection
• Experience with detailed design and assessment of offshore structures would be an advantage
• Knowledge about degradation of steel in an offshore environment
• Knowledge of Risk Based Inspection methodology, NDT techniques and SAP (CIMS)
• Proficiency in oral and written English
