Software Developer – Integration with CAD and Other Programs - Career Opportunities

We are looking for a developer to join our team in Lyngby, Denmark, focused on creating interfaces between our simulation software, COMSOL Multiphysics, and various external programs, including CAD software, MATLAB, Microsoft Office, and more.

This role involves close collaboration with our main development office in Stockholm and other international teams. You will work with multiple programming languages and operating systems to develop seamless integrations, enhancing interoperability between our software and third-party applications.

Tasks

• Developing integration code to connect COMSOL Multiphysics with other software.
• Collaborating with colleagues on the design and specification of new features.
• Implementing, testing, and refining functionality.
• Providing occasional support and training.

Qualifications
We are looking for a junior developer with the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C#, Java, C/C
• Experience in programming and debugging using .NET and COM
• A master’s degree in engineering or natural sciences
• Experience working on software projects in a collaborative environment
• Familiarity with source control systems and automated testing

Other preferred qualifications (Highly Valued)

• Experience with CAD software and their APIs
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink
