Your Role
As our Security Engineer in IT Operations based in Aarhus, you will play a key role in safeguarding our advanced encryption solutions. You'll be tasked with fortifying the digital front of our operations, implementing robust security measures, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to elevate innovation in security protocols.
You will be:
- Responsible for architecting, building, documenting, and operating IT systems in line with company requirements for IT Security
- Supporting the Legal and Compliance team with providing evidence and response to audits from customers that Cryptomathic are suppliers to
- Monitoring IT systems, responding to incidents and performing root cause analysis
- Ensuring that Cryptomathic’s IT systems meet security requirements, minimizing impactful PenTest findings and minimizing the organization’s attack surface

Desired Experience, Skills And Qualifications
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Google, Azure)
- A few years of experience working with Information Security
- Basic knowledge of data structures and distributed systems
- Some knowledge of security automation (e.g. automated controls and offensive scripting)
- Knowledge or hands–on experience with penetration testing & red teaming is a plus.
- Capable of providing technical guidance to cross functional teams
- Capable technical writer for policies, processes, and other system documentation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Drive progress and pursue opportunities in alignment with the organization’s goals and priorities, while managing risks and uncertainty
- B.S. in Computer Science or similar field/experience
- Relevant certification is a plus, e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security, or DSOE DevSecOps Engineering
