Who are we?

Customer Capabilities is a Tribe of 100 employees, organized in 10 cross functional teams across Denmark, Poland, India, all committed to deliver effective end-to-end solutions for both external customers of and internal users in Danske Bank. We cater for the following critical domains: Fee, Interest, Tax Reporting and Customer Communication.

What’s in it for you?

You will work in an agile and autonomous team who builds and takes full ownership of the banks future one and only document generating system. Today we have a volume of half a million documents going through every day and more is on its way. The system is built in .NET, divided into multiple microservices using MSSQL DBs, orchestrated in a process-driven architecture based on multiple standard components such as Flowable, SmartComms, Apose, Apryse, etc. The system is currently running in On-Prem Openshift but the team is planning to move it to the Danske Bank setup in AWS cloud.

The team consists of 5 highly skilled developers, a product owner, a business analyst and a UI/UX designer. You will be an integrated part of the team as a developer, taking full DevOps responsibility together with your teammates. At the same time, you will also be Chapter Lead where you will spend 30% of your time ensuring that your employees are well and motivated, and the team is high performing with good collaboration and great team spirit. Your employees will consist of five individuals from Denmark, each with diverse skills and experiences, allocated between your team and another.

What do we imagine about you?

• Believe in the Agile paradigm and are always curious about how you and your team can be even more agile
• Great interest in People and Team building with a servant leadership approach
• Solid experience in .NET or Java, SQL, MQ, Microservices and Container based development (e.g. OpenShift/Kubernetes/EKS)
• Good understanding of software design principles on multiple abstraction levels and knowledge about Domain Driven Design
• Experienced in DevOps responsibility including full pipeline ownership, CI/CD, logging, cloud platform (e.g. AWS/Azure) and monitoring
• Fluent in English
