The Role
At DEIF A/S, we specialise in the development and manufacturing of electronic devices and units designed to seamlessly control and switch between various energy sources, including solar, diesel, and batteries, for efficient power production. In the role of Mechanical Designer, you will play a key role in developing the mechanical parts of our products, and you will work closely with our current Mechanical Designer as well as hardware engineers, technical designers, production engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design of electrical cabinets in injection-moulded plastic
• Design of electrical cabinets in sheet metal
• Keyboards for MMI
• Collaboration with colleagues about product approval
• DFM and automation
• Development and implementation of sustainable manufacturing processes
• Contribution to the implementation of new technologies and tools
• Documentation in both Danish and English

The person
You have a background as mechanical engineer or toolmaker coupled with solid professional skills, including knowledge about materials and the ability to establish good relations. In addition to this, you are a proficient 3D CAD user, experienced in Inventor and Vault 2023. If you are a newly qualified Mechanical developer, we have a mentor setup ready for you.

You are creative, organised in your work and a good team player. Additionally, you excel in completing projects and can contribute with technical expertise to our team.
