About the role
You will join a dedicated and professional finance team working in an international environment with colleagues across Europe and beyond.

In this newly created role, you will report to the Head of Group Financial Controlling & Compliance and have a unique opportunity to be a key player in the implementation of our newly established internal control framework across the organisation.

You will work in a cross-functional playing field evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our financial risk management, internal controls, governance processes and accounting policies.

Additionally, you will:

• Perform internal financial compliance reviews.
• Ensure that group policies reflect updated operational and financial risks and processes.
• Various financial compliance controlling tasks such as controlling of Related Party Transaction, monitoring of Audit fee, etc.
• Driving optimisation and maintenance of the internal control framework.
• Support external auditor process in relation to risk and compliance.

About you
As a person, you are curious, self-driven and take a high degree of ownership for your tasks. Being able cooperate and engage different stakeholders will be a key driver for being successful in this role.

Furthermore, we expect that the ideal candidate has:

• A master’s degree in finance, preferably within auditing, finance, accounting or similar.
• 3-5 years experience as an internal or external auditor with at least 3 years of professional experience in auditing, risk controlling and/or accounting from an international audit firm or listed company.
• Experience with internal controls, working with internal control frameworks and GRC systems.
• Experience with IFRS and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Preferably, experience in working cross-organisationally with many stakeholders.
