Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure

The KeyShot products are used by a variety of different user profiles in many companies around the world, e.g. Fortune 100 companies such as Google, Chrysler, Fossil, Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Victoria’s Secret, HP, Microsoft, Philips, Under Armour, Adidas and many more.

Our software products are developed in agile, cross-functional teams using elements from the SAFe setup.

For our R&D office in Aarhus, Denmark, we are looking to hire a skilled and proactive Engineer to join our platform team.

Besides your daily tasks working with cloud services, you will have an affiliation with the Platform team to ensure sparring with like-minded and continuous improvements to our ways of working with platform.

The job

As our new Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure, you will contribute to developing our new cloud-based services complementing our 3D rendering software products. You will be part of a cross-functional and empowered Kanban team and participate in short term planning as well as increment planning. Your daily activities will include:

• Designing and developing new services in cooperation with back-end developers
• Continues work on improving infrastructure in relation to uptime, cost and security
• Implement Observability
• Spar with other Platform members

As part of a platform team, you have great influence and are supported by team members who are happy to help and provide feedback.

Your Profile

We expect that you have an educational background as a computer scientist, it-engineer or equivalent.

Furthermore, we expect you to have:

• 3 years of software development experience
• Strong experience in cloud-based architecture and deployment to AWS, Azure or similar
• An understanding and ability to apply security best practices
• Experience with infrastructure as code
• Experience with implementing observability
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub

As a person you are a team player who enjoys collaboration and sharing knowledge in the team about improving software craftsmanship and deployment. No challenge is too big, and none too small. You have a proactive quality-minded attitude and the ability to work systematic and confident with new challenges. You are also able to coordinate directly with other teams and It.

Our primary working language is English, and since our colleagues come from all over the world, it is vital that you speak and write English fluently.
