About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for managing and developing the backbone of our IT infrastructure, from servers and network systems to private and cloud-based environments. The role is based at our headquarters in Stilling near Skanderborg and reports directly to our Head of IT Operations. You will act as the technical lead on infrastructure projects, ensuring best-practice design and execution while supporting ongoing performance, stability, and cybersecurity initiatives. Your day-to-day work will involve troubleshooting complex issues at the third-line level, optimizing system reliability, and working cross-functionally to align IT solutions with business needs. You’ll also contribute to maintaining clear and up-to-date technical documentation, ensuring knowledge is shared and systems are well-governed.

You’re an experienced IT specialist with a structured, security-minded approach – and you thrive in an environment where high standards meet high trust.

Your qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar IT infrastructure role
• A degree (or equivalent) in IT, Computer Science or related field
• Solid experience with hybrid environments, including Microsoft Azure
• Strong expertise in networks, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud systems
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions to team members

Preferred skills:

• Deep experience with Hybrid IT Infrastructure – primarily Microsoft Azure and Private Cloud
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
