Senior Project Manager

POSTED ON 4/23/2025 AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/25/2025
DNV Germany Holding GmbH Danmark, Full Time

Are you an experienced Project Manager and would you like to be a key person within a team of cybersecurity professionals? Would you like to work in a fast-moving field where you can make a real impact on society?

We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager for DNV Cyber's Enterprise & IT Service Area.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects of varying durations, ranging from 5 days to several months, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will be hands-on throughout the entire project lifecycle – from initial planning and kick-off to addressing issues as they arise and overseeing project close-out. A key part of the role will involve identifying lessons learned and implementing improvements to streamline future projects.

You will also take ownership of customer delivery, serving as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for continuous service customers. This means coordinating their needs and ensuring DNV Cyber is well-represented within the customer organization. You will work to identify and secure the best talent to meet customer requirements.

Another important aspect of the role will be liaising between sales, customers, and technical teams. You will act as a buffer between cybersecurity specialists, sales, and customers, allowing specialists to focus on their core work of security testing. You will train consultants in scoping activities, ensuring they align with internal processes and tools. Additionally, you will ensure that all technical aspects of offers are prepared on time, according to internal deadlines, and that internal processes are followed, with ticketing tools being consistently updated.

You will also play a role in process fine-tuning, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring that the established processes are adhered to across the service area, maintaining consistent quality and efficiency. In terms of resource allocation, you will collaborate closely with staffing teams to ensure efficient project bookings while balancing consultant career aspirations with business needs. Your input on project prioritization will be crucial in proposing alternatives that optimize both resource allocation and overall project outcomes.

This position will be based either in Denmark or Sweden.

A career in DNV is not just a job. It is an extraordinary opportunity to develop and enrich your life and make more of a global impact than you ever believed possible.

Our benefits package is specifically designed to support your physical, financial, and social well-being:

  • Attractive total compensation package, including DNV’s profit share
  • 5 weeks annual vacation
  • Flexible working hours and focus on work/life balance
  • A strong company culture with an emphasis on competence development
  • Great colleagues who value teamwork and support
  • Interesting and challenging projects, both national and international
  • Be part of a world-leading company with a presence in more than 100 countries, represented by 15,000 employees around the world, with its headquarters in Norway.
  • The possibility to grow and develop your competencies and ambitions within DNV

DNV is an Equal Opportunity Employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to gender, religion, race, national or ethnic origin, cultural background, social group, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age or political opinion. Diversity is fundamental to our culture and we invite you to be part of this diversity.

You have the following:

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in the cybersecurity or IT services industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with an eye for continuous improvement.

  • Fluent English and Danish/Swedish language skills – both verbal and written.
