As an Enterprise Architect, you will have a clear mandate to set the direction and will play a key role in shaping the future architectures of DSV in collaboration with other IT functions and our business verticals. Job description
DSV retain our position as market leader by adapting quickly to market changes. Importantly, we want to reduce time to market for new software features and it must be simple to try out new ideas with minimal impact to existing business solutions. Our team guides the implementation and the adoption of DSV branded platform services e.g., for integrations and cloud native deployments, with the intention to ensure standardized and predictable services to the teams building software.
Some key activities as part of your new role are:
Lead and support the architecture and enabling technologies strategy in DSV
Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Design and implement comprehensive enterprise architecture frameworks, including business, application, technology, and data domains.
Lead the creation and evolution of enterprise data architecture, including data models, data flows, data governance policies, and data integration strategies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Assess current systems, processes, and technologies to identify gaps and recommend improvements or innovations.
Ensure data architecture supports enterprise-wide analytics, reporting, and decision-making capabilities.
Support different data teams to establish standards, guidelines, and best practices for data management, including data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Oversee the integration of disparate systems and applications to enable seamless data flow and interoperability.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship, ascertain risks and opportunities in emerging technologies (e.g., cloud computing, AI, IoT) and their impact on enterprise architecture.
Mentor and guide junior architects and IT staff on EA principles and data architecture best practices.
Partner with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and implement data-related tools and platforms.
Monitor industry trends in enterprise architecture and data management to ensure the organization remains competitive and forward-thinking.

Qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
5 years of experience in enterprise architecture, IT strategy, architecture/management consulting or a related role as an EA or Senior solution architect aspiring to work in a broader scope.
Knowledge of enterprise data architecture, good understanding of data lifecycle management, from ingestion to analytics, data governance, master data management (MDM), and data quality frameworks.
Proven expertise in key EA frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent)
Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., cloud-based data lakes, data warehouses, ETL tools).
Knowledge of data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache Kafka)
Familiarity with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM) and their data ecosystems.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
Understanding of AI/ML integration within enterprise data architectures.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
Strategic thinking with a focus on long-term scalability and innovation.
Strong leadership in driving data-driven decision-making.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Fluent in English – spoken as well as written
Preferred but not mandatory:
Certification in TOGAF, ArchiMate, or similar EA frameworks.
Industry-specific experience (e.g., transport and logistics).

We work in an international environment and collaborate closely with our colleagues within IT and DSV business verticals. Today Global IT has more than 2.300 employees working across the globe.
