In this role you will be responsible for developing the RIDGID business and providing sustainable growth in Eastern part of Denmark. You will plan and prioritize sales activities and customer/prospect contacts to achieve the agreed business goals. You have to maximize the sales in distribution networks and diversified end-users in different market like plumbing, HVAC, contractors in sprinkler, infrastructure, mining, drain cleaning and electrical business. You will report to the Area Manager Scandinavia.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Generating sales through undertaking site surveys and providing technical advice to both existing and potential customers
  • Supporting sales through the effective provision of sales data, including the weekly recording of visit and action reports. Following up on all sales-leads, distributor performance and offers
  • Developing sales with hands-on demonstrations, trade shows and roadshow (demoVan) events in order to achieve targets
  • Maintaining the relations with existing local dealers & end-users in the targeted segments
  • Training the sales stuff in distributors as well as end-user customers
  • Using customer and prospect contact activities, tools and systems and update relevant information related to these systems
  • Visiting key account customers like construction companies, municipalities, contractors, oil & gas and mining companies
  • Classifying the product range according to related potential customers & distributors

Who You Are:

You build and maintain effective relationships with our customers. You are strongly sales-oriented and persistently pursue your goals despite obstacles and setbacks. You adapt your communication and messages to the respective target group and ensure that technical details are explained in a simple and understandable way.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum three years proven capability of managing accounts/agents and track record for sales in one of following sectors; plumbing, HVAC, construction, oil & gas, infrastructure
  • Technical understanding of machines, new technologies and tools
  • Fluent in Danish language
  • Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Work and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Willingness to work remotely
