About The Job
The
Head of Data & Analytics is a strategic leadership role responsible for harnessing data-driven insights across the organization, driving AI-based solutions, and fostering a data-centric culture. This role will oversee data strategy, governance, and advanced analytics to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, analytics, AI deployment, and business intelligence while ensuring that data is leveraged effectively across all functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a data strategy that aligns with business objectives, ensuring data is leveraged as a strategic asset.
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, security, compliance, and accessibility across the organization.
- Lead AI and advanced analytics initiatives, deploying machine learning models and automation to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
- Drive the development of business intelligence and self-service analytics, enabling teams to access real-time insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Oversee the design and implementation of modern data architecture, including cloud-based data lakes, warehouses, and scalable analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments (Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, HR) to identify opportunities for data-driven optimization.
- Manage and optimize data infrastructure costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing the ROI of data investments.
- Build and lead a high-performing data team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Measure and track the impact of data initiatives, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business value and ensure continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of emerging data technologies and industry trends, implementing best practices to drive digital transformation.
Your Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience deploying AI/ML solutions to drive automation, operational efficiency, and business growth.
- Strong expertise in data governance, data architecture, and cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure).
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and data engineering technologies (SQL, Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, etc.).
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving organization-wide adoption of data-driven decision-making.
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML techniques, predictive modeling, and automation strategies.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical teams.
- Good understanding in data security, privacy, and compliance best practices (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
