POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Programme Officer in Grants Management, your role includes helping design, apply for and report on projects for the JCPUA as well as keep track of the progress of assigned projects as they are implemented. You will work closely with program managers, donors, stakeholders, and other team members to assist with the abovementioned tasks as well as other efforts like internal coordination and more. Overall, as a Programme Officer in the Grants Management team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful project design and proposals, effective liaison with donors and other stakeholders, as well as both internal and external coordination of projects and more, contributing to the organization's mission and vision.
This Programme Officer position will be focal point for national and local partners in Ukraine in addition to focal point for EU related donor organizations. Prior experience with DG ECHO, EU FPI, ECHO HIP will be considered an advantage.
Regardless of the content of this job description the employee is expected to participate in any task necessary for the organization always delegated by the line manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to JCPUA’s Programme Coordinator in maintenance of all grants, donor requirements, rules and regulations and internal and external deadlines. ·
Serve as Grant Management Focal point for all national and local implementing partners including provision of information and guidance regarding reporting requirements, preparation and follow-up on Cooperation Agreement and related information.
Assist with writing and coordinating donor proposals and reports in close collaboration with JCPUA colleagues and implementing partners. ·
Collaborate with JCPUA’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator and ensure that all data collected from the programme is analysed and meaningfully utilised.
Assisting in building relations and increase visibility of JCPUA among both donors, partners, INGOs and other key stakeholders. · Ensuring that all funded projects meet all donor requirements.
Work closely with the JCPUA team to review project specific lessons learned as well as lesson learned from the overall programme and incorporate these in future programming, as appropriate in collaboration with the HoP and relevant staff.
Any other relevant tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the CD, HoP or PDC via the Grants Management Unit Lead.
