Subcontractor Manager

Then you might be our new Subcontractor Manager who is ready to start a new adventure with us!

We are looking for a Subcontractor Manager for Onshore, Offshore, Service and Blades projects throughout Europe.

No requirement regarding location; remotely accepted; ability to meet up face to face regularly with the team as well as with the clients.

As a Subcontractor Manager you will work closely with the operational team. You will be in constant contact with our project managers as well as with Resource Allocation Managers ensuring you provide the right support with the resources needed for the project.

We seek a self-motivated candidate with ability to do self-doing. Flexibility, multitasking and communication skills are also appreciated. Experience in the wind or oil/gas industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as focal point for Manpower subcontractors (first point of contact)
• Book and or organize booking of resources from Manpower subcontractors
• Ensure clarity and agreement as to what party is handling travel, PPE etc.
• Ensure GWS does not pay for activities that are under the responsibility of the Manpower subcontractor
• Facilitate GWS messages towards the Manpower subcontractors (ex HSEQ).
• Management on Manpower subcontractor responsibilities with regards to compliance, tax etc.
• Manage "Approved Vendor list" for Manpower subcontractor companies
• Manage, communicate and maintain rate charts on roles, regions etc.
• Monitor and drive performance management of Manpower Subcontractors

On interim basis:
- Develop Manpower subcontractor strategy for GWS
- Assess current Manpower subcontractor pool and identify potential new Manpower subcontractor candidates according to strategy
- Prepare and negotiate contracts with selected Manpower subcontractors
- Manage and maintain relations with selected Manpower subcontractors
- Resolve commercial disputes with Manpower subcontractors

Requirements

• Min. 3 years of technical contract management experience
• Ideally 3 years of planning experience
• Excellent English skills
• Excellent communications skills
• Strong organizational abilities,
• excellent communication skills (both written and verbal),
• and problem-solving capabilitie
• Strong PC skills, with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel & Project.
• Function with little supervision.
• Be an effective team player.
