Gram Equipment A/S is undergoing a positive development and is looking for an innovative and quality-conscious Mechanical Engineer for our Extrusion Group. With reference to the individual Product Manager, it is your responsibility to design, develop and maintain the team's unique product program. The production is connected to the office, so it is possible to see your results and concretely follow the assembly in the plant. In the job, there will also be the opportunity to participate in testing and commissioning of the facilities worldwide. You will also take part in innovating and testing new equipment. Job description:

As a Mechanical Engineer at Gram Equipment, you get an independent job and a versatile everyday life with the opportunity to work with different areas within mechanical development, design, and construction. Your primary tasks will be:

• 3D construction of machines, including 2D detail drawings, assembly drawings, etc.

• Mechanical product development – both new and further development related to our Extrusion products

• Necessary documentation according to applicable legislation – including CE marking

• Development and maintenance of bill of materials and production basis - including quality documentation and test specifications

• Ongoing follow-up of designs in collaboration with assembly

• Preparation of concepts for future solutions as well as associated budgets and schedules

  
  

You must expect up to 10 to 20 travel days annually.

Your background:

You are trained as a mechanical engineer. It is expected that you have experience with development and mechanical design and construction, including manufacturing technology, knowledge of materials, machine drawing or similar. We are looking for an experienced candidate, thus it is a requirement that you have at least 5 years of experience from a similar position. Experience from the food industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.

The company language is English, which you are expected to master in writing and speech. Furthermore Danish in written and spoken form is an advantage, but not a must.
