Head of Digital Product Development

As Head of Digital Product Development, you will be anchored in Grundfos’ Division, Domestic Building Services (DBS), specifically Product Development (PD). Reporting to the VP, Head of Product Development, you will be part of the PD Leadership team and the extended Divisional Leadership team.

In this pivotal role, you will lead global Product and Offerings Development for Digital Solutions. Through vision, empowerment, and clear direction, you will inspire a highly skilled international team of specialists to develop and maintain best-in-class digital products.

What is the Job About?
You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our digital products. As the budget accountable for all activities within the digital product group, you will ensure our offerings are the best performing in the market. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development and maintenance of digital products, leading agile transformations, and fostering a motivating and inspiring work environment aligned with Grundfos Values and Purpose.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Lead Digital Strategy: Drive the digital transformation strategy and oversee the development of cutting-edge digital products.
• Innovate and Empower: Inspire and empower a global team of specialists to create best-in-class digital solutions.
• Agile Leadership: Champion agile methodologies and lead agile transformations to enhance productivity and innovation.
• Budget Management: Accountable for all development activities within the digital product group.
• Work Environment: Ensure an inspiring work environment linked to Grundfos Values and Purpose.
• Product Development: Oversee Digital Product & Offerings Development, including large, small, and solution development projects, as well as full product lifecycle maintenance.
• Compliance and Stakeholder Engagement: Sign off on Declarations of Conformity (DoC) and act as a senior stakeholder for Digital Product Development in projects. Collaborate on capability needs outside PD.
• Capability and Competence Management: Manage capabilities linked to product visions and roadmap and be accountable for selected competence areas.
• Strategy Deployment: Drive and deploy divisional strategy within the value stream together with relevant stakeholders, and support strategies supporting One Grundfos.

Your Background
You are a dynamic leader with proven experience in managing and supervising teams, finding solutions in complex situations, and driving innovation. You have an analytical mindset and can deal with a high level of complexity across the organization with an end-to-end perspective.

To succeed in this role, you excel in collaborating and ensuring alignment with senior leadership, establishing good relationships, influencing strategy, and moving the development agenda forward.

Moreover, we imagine that you have:

• A master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar, and preferably an E-MBA.
• Experience leading development teams within digital offerings in a domestic product setting.
• Proven experience in digital transformation within a large international player.
• Proven business acumen and experience working in cross-functional teams, preferably within product development.
• Strong experience in motivating, empowering, and leading teams and setting directions.
• Proven experience with agile ways of working and change management.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written.

You will be based at our headquarters in Bjerringbro and must be willing to travel when required.
