About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Product Specialist Lighting Software to join our market-leading Global Product Line Management (GPLM) team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued growth and help shape the product strategy and roadmap for Martin Lighting.

Key role is to develop detailed specifications for our software products, including P3 System Controller, Companion Desktop, and Companion Mobile. You will also oversee the development, testing, and validation of these applications, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy and direction provided by the Senior Product Manager.

To excel in this role, you should have extensive experience and a deep understanding of professional entertainment lighting and video control products, systems, and workflows. A strong technical skillset and industry experience are essential, along with excellent structure, communication, and collaboration skills. You will collaborate closely with our R&D, Marketing, Sales and other cross-functional teams as well as our partners, customers and end-users.

What You Will Do

• Write product specifications for software products and supervise the development, test and validation of these applications.
• Assist with creation of training and marketing materials in collaboration with the Senior Product Manager.
• Conduct product training and daily support and communication towards our product specialists and sales teams, as well as towards our partners and distributors in situations where required is also part of the role and responsibility.
• Support with product demonstrations and product marketing tasks at trade shows, sales events or other customers facing events.
• Interface with third-party visualizer manufactures as they implement the P3 Visualizer Protocol and work with controller, visualizer and CAD manufactures to secure that they are updated on any new Martin products and receive the necessary data to incorporate these. You will be responsible to maintain Martin fixture libraries for these third-party software tools.
• Create and implement control and UI menu layouts across all Martin products to secure a consistent user experience.
• Assist product managers by operating live webinars and prepare product shootouts for internal or customers.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Experience and in-depth understanding of lighting and video control products and systems and workflows.
• Good balance between technical, industry and commercial skills, where technical and industry understanding weights heavier than commercial.
• Ease of understanding complex systems or problems and being able to analyze and convey key messages or solutions to different audiences.
• Ability to work in a structured way where collaborating across various functions in a global organization is key.
• High level of organizing and attention to detail.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment with shifting demands.

Bonus Points if You Have

• Experience in similar job at a manufacturer within global business-to-business industry.

What Makes You Eligible

• Fluent in English, speaking, reading and writing.
• Be willing to 30 days of domestic and international travel per year.
• Must be able to commute to an office in Aarhus, Denmark. Home-Office location outside of Denmark is also possible.
• Legal right to live and work in Denmark for this opening.
