Swapfiets is looking for Bike Hunters starting immediately!

Are you looking for a fritidsjob and recognise yourself in this: a stolen or missing bike? Let's get it back!

When bikes get stolen, our members feel the pain. And so do we! As our Bike Hunter, you will have an amazing impact on getting our missing bikes back in Copenhagen. In this job, you will become fully responsible for making sure we get bikes back to their rightful users. If you have an analytical mind and a passion for justice, this role is perfect for you! Setting up procedures for bike surveillance and the so-called 'city sweeps' (a.k.a. getting the bikes back) will be your primary focus.

To make the job even easier and more fun: we are using trackers on our bikes. Once our members report that their bike is stolen, you can hunt these e-bikes in Copenhagen by cycling with an e-bike through the city. We have a particular way of bike hunting, but it is up to you to oversee and improve our hunting process in Copenhagen. You will also be answering questions on the street and explaining what you're doing to members or people passing by during bike hunting or city sweep activities.

Responsibilities:

• Driving the recovery target by finding stolen bikes (using the Carla cargo trailer to collect the bikes);
• Scanning Swapfiets bikes on the street during city sweeps;
• Getting back missing (or bad debt) e-bikes with an active GPS-tracker;
• Picking up bikes at the municipality depot and bringing them to the warehouse;
• Registering recovered bikes in our internal systems;
• Bringing the recovered bikes back to our stores/warehouses.

Your profile:

• Under 18 years old;
• Affinity with bikes and service;
• Available for 8-12 hours a week;
• Your own Swapfiets;
• Flexible or fixed working hours/days possible;
