Our Data Platform team is looking for a Platform Engineer to help adopt Platform Engineering best practices and help develop and maintain Data Platform technology. You must be eager to take on responsibility, ensure high uptime, provide outstanding solutions to the organization, and, most importantly, be ready to embrace a steep learning curve.
We guarantee a team of awesome, highly skilled colleagues dedicated to helping you invent the solutions of tomorrow. You will spend the first 3-6 months with our Platform Engineering team, learning their setup and working methods. After this period, you will move to the Data Platform team but maintain a working relationship with our Platform Engineering team and attend regular catchups with them.

Responsibilities – you will:
- Actively participate in the evaluation and adoption of new technologies to support the continued development of our global data platform.
- Provide infrastructural input and best-practice recommendations on emerging data technologies—such as databases and streaming platforms—to ensure secure and efficient operations.
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing existing systems, including databases, storage solutions, streaming technologies, and message queuing infrastructure.
- Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of our shared Kubernetes-based platform.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of our CI/CD pipelines to streamline and strengthen deployment processes.
Qualifications – we imagine that you:
- Have 2 years of experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps, with solid skills in Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, Docker and GitHub.
- Have interest in and worked with data storage and data transfer technologies, such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Trino, StarRocks, Iceberg, Apache Spark, Apache Flink etc.
- Are comfortable defining technical requirements as well as finding and evaluating technologies.
- Can provide technical push-back to requirements and suggest alternative options.
