The Position

Your day-to-day will vary, involving pipes, valves, centrifuges, pumps, and columns, while collaborating with both maintenance and production colleagues. Your expertise will often be needed for problem-solving, helping to facilitate systematic root cause analysis and developing corrective and preventive measures.

The Main Tasks Will Be To

• Systematically solve problems and provide technical support for process equipment.
• Take action to improve productivity by optimizing maintenance strategies and enhancing equipment performance.
• Work with data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities through analysis.
• Increase the level of online monitoring for equipment integrity and predictive maintenance, elevating productivity to the next level.
• Drive internal development projects to enhance OEE, maintainability, and performance.
• Provide support for large-scale capacity projects, offering design and component expertise.
  
  

As the position is highly visible, you'll have the opportunity to build a broad network and contribute to improved effectiveness across production and maintenance. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you:

• Have an educational background in marine engineering (maskinmester) or a similar field.
• Have some experience ideally in production optimization or equipment operation/maintenance. However, we value relevant background and the right mindset above all, making this position suitable for recent graduates as well.
• Have fluency in English, Danish (or a willingness to learn) is a plus.
  
  

To Qualify For The Position, We Expect You To

• Have a keen interest in becoming an expert in large machinery and equipment such as columns, freeze dryers, hydraulics, pneumatics, centrifuges, pumps, and valves.
• Possess a natural curiosity for solving technical problems and driving lasting improvements in both maintenance and production.
• Be strong in automation, refrigeration, pump theory, and fluid/thermodynamics.
• Be mindful of energy and environmental considerations.
• Demonstrate a solid mix of hands-on technical skills and theoretical knowledge.
• Have excellent stakeholder management and systematic problem-solving skills.
• Be capable of explaining, educating, and mentoring others about technical functions.

You are motivated to work within the regulatory framework of pharmaceutical production, and eager to learn more about it. You are skilled at building trust and fostering knowledge exchange.

About The Department

In Manufacturing 1 (M1), we produce the core ingredients to most recent Novo Nordisk products. In M1 Maintenance Development, our team includes 16 skilled supporters (primarily marine engineers) with broad expertise, that handle all the technical support needs of both the line and the maintenance department. We spend a lot of time on shop floor support, building relations and making sure that we fully understand the process and equipment that constitute the backbone of our production. Whenever technical issues arise - and preferably before - we facilitate the problem solving and the development of corrective and preventive measures that will allow the production to continue.
