Here Is What The Job Entails

In the position as Data Scientist your primary responsibility will be to conduct data experiments to identify and develop innovative solutions that address customer issues by leveraging the hidden value within data obtained from meters and grid sensors. You will do this through direct and consistent contact with Product Managers, Software Developers, customers, UX Designers, and Hardware Developers.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Proof-of-concept projects and collaborating with our software development team who will develop the final commercial solution
• Doing data discovery on new and existing data sources
• Framing new ideas for data analytics based on dialogue with internal and external stakeholders
• Working on PoC projects together with customers
• Designing and developing algorithms for customer-facing products
  
  
  

In this role, you will gain a thorough understanding of how utilities operate and how data science is applied within this sector. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills within data science while seeing your solutions make a real difference for our customers and their transition to a more sustainable energy future.

With direct reference to our Head of Product Portfolio Management, you will become part of a team of 6 highly skilled colleagues who work every day to bring smart metering solutions and services to our markets. The team consists of many backgrounds ranging from highly technical profiles to profiles with a commercial and strategic focus and background. This diversity in background helps us achieve a high level of quality and development in our work, which is something we value highly in our department.

We are looking for a talented Data Scientist who can take our analytical platform to new heights in collaboration with partners and customers worldwide. Your curiosity drives you to innovate and create new data solutions that are centered around customer needs.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

• Have a master’s degree in engineering or natural sciences, which has given you an understanding of concepts used in power systems.
• Have experience with programming and data analysis in Python, as well as machine learning techniques
• Are proficient in collaborative coding using tools like git
• Have a strong drive to translate customers’ needs into commercial solutions
• Have excellent collaboration skills, thriving in interactions with both internal stakeholders and customers
  
  
  

As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English. Knowledge of Danish will be seen as an asset.
