We optimize supply chain flow, create real-time visibility in postal sorting offices, reduce emissions by optimizing transport planning, as well as increase patient care within hospitals using state-of-the-art tracking technologies like RFID and BLE.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and efficient software solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of our software solutions. You will get to work closely together with the Enterprise Architect and other Solution Architects. Daily you will work closely together with the Backend Team and will take some development tasks in the projects within the Backend team.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Lead the architectural design and development of software solutions for our customers.

· Define and implement best practices for software development and system integration.

· Collaborate with solution managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable solutions to enhance system capabilities.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance optimization of software applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and design principles.
• Develop technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
• Support project lifecycle management from concept to deployment and maintenance.

You get to work with different technologies, platforms, and methods – all centered around our extensive and modern software platform used to configure and develop product software.

You may expect to travel in connection with projects, development, and customer meetings.

Desired skills and experience

• You are an engineer, computer scientist or have academic degree in Computer Science or similar
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in software development methodologies, programming languages (e.g., Java, C , Python), and cloud-based technologies (Oracle Cloud OCI) and designing performance and scalable solutions.
• Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, - Distributed systems large scale, big data, and integration patterns.
• Deep understanding of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of Architecture Descriptions according to ISO42010 and architect tools such as ArchiMate
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Good technical communication skills in writing and speaking with focus on technical
