Canteen Manager

What you will be doing:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Canteen Manager to lead the daily operations of our company canteen. This role is ideal for a dynamic food service professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering quality and consistency in food preparation and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the canteen’s daily food preparation and service activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate canteen employees in their culinary tasks, ensuring high productivity and a positive working environment.
• Supply Estimation: Estimate and manage supplies, ingredients, and staffing needs based on operational demands.
• Lead Chef Role: Act as the lead chef during food preparation, supported by other team members. Oversee cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
• Staff Development: Train and instruct canteen employees, identifying educational or skill development needs to enhance team capabilities.
• Compliance & Sanitation: Inspect equipment, supplies, and facilities regularly to ensure hygiene and conformance to food safety standards and regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to maintain culinary excellence and consistency.
