Freight agent – Internship

Internship - training as
a freight agent

We are looking for an intern who will be trained as a freight agent for 2 years. Starting date: as soon as possible or per agreement.

Job responsibilities

• You will be trained in all seafreight operations and other related tasks
• You will be negotiating rates with our suppliers and clients
• You will be responsible for timely completion of export documents and coordinate with both customer and/or warehouse for timely delivery of cargo
• You will communicate regularly with customer in regards to customer’s shipment status as well as continuous communication with overseas to meet delivery commitments
• You will follow-up with airline/shipping line/trucking companies to monitor and track departure and arrival information and updates
• You will ensure customer profiles are accurate and update

Required qualifications

• You should speak Danish and English and master the same in writing.
  Additional language skills are welcome
• The rest will be taught on the job
