In our IT department, we strive to deliver first-class IT solutions to support the operation and maintenance of the Metro and Light Rail in and around Copenhagen.
About the job
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled IT Architect / Solution Architect to help shape the future IT structure and solutions in our organization.
Ensures alignment of individual digital projects with overall business strategy and technology standards.
Designs detailed technical solutions to achieve project goals.
Evaluates project constraints to identify alternatives, mitigate risks, and potentially re-engineer processes.
Acts as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Architecture & design: Mapping, documenting and further developing Metro Service's IT landscape, including data flows and integrations across existing systems.
Standardization & futureproofing: Implementation of IT architecture Best Practices in accordance with relevant architectural frameworks, such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
Analysis & documentation: "Detective work" in connection with describing current processes – "as-is" where does data come from, where is it stored, and how will it be used in the future?
Security & compliance: Contribute to increasing the level of security and achieving compliance with e.g. NIS2, GDPR, CIS18.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs that support the overall business strategy.
Analyse existing systems, identify gaps, and recommend improvements or new solutions to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
Relevant technical education or certifications in architecture and IT
Several years of experience as an IT Architect or Solution Architect
Strong knowledge of IT architecture, system design, and integration
Experience with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar)
Familiarity with IT solutions such as SAP, CRM, and other business-critical systems
Solid understanding of software development methods and technologies
Excellent Communications and collaboration skills
Fluent in Danish and English - written and spoken
