Why This Role Is Right for You

As a Financial Controller, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Ballerup, Denmark. As a Financial controller, you will be part of the Nets group accounting team, reporting to the Head of Group Accounts. The Nets Group Finance has a strong track record of high-quality financial reporting, continuously developing processes and adapting an international working culture. We enjoy a working environment, where “two days are not the same” and where you as an individual can make an impact. You will play a crucial role in assisting the business with valid data for managing operations.

About Your Future Role

In this position, you will:

• Handle consolidation and ongoing reporting to public authorities
• Prepare quarterly reports and annual financial statements
• Perform ad hoc tasks related to budgeting and forecasting
• Review reports from subsidiaries
• Develop and maintain controls
• Optimize processes and update process descriptions
• Prepare and review reconciliations

Essential Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in a finance department or audit firm
• Relevant education, such as a master's degree in economics or a related field
• Business-oriented mindset with a curiosity for streamlining and automating processes
• Strong accounting and finance skills
• Understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is a plus
  
  

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory
• Attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind
• Proficiency in IT, especially Excel
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to complete tasks on time and with high quality
• You are fluent in English that is our corporate language
