North American market Senior Quantitative Analyst/Trader

Are you an experienced analyst with a strong quantitative mindset? Are you hungry for a challenge and ready to help us build our presence on the North American market? Then you might be our new Senior Quantitative Analyst!

As a Senior Quantitative Analyst in the North America trading team, you will be involved in the development of various trading strategies as well as the continuous improvement of our framework. Collaborating closely with experienced quants from other trading teams, you’ll play a key role in ramping up our trading activities in the North America market.

Your tasks will include

• Help build and form a new team around North American power trading
• Use your experience from your previous trading in North America to teach other quants/traders and scale up our trading activities
• Developing and executing trading strategies in a fast-paced, competitive environment
• Keeping an eye on market trends, news, and data to stay ahead of the competition
• Managing risk and reward

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an analyst/trader in the North American market
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in either a quantitative field (finance, math, physics or similar) or within the field of computer science (or related disciplines such as software engineering)
• You hold strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• You’re a strong team player but also have the ability to work independently and structure your workload
• You’re skilled in Python
• Motivated to be part of a new team and be ready to take on a lot of responsibilities
• You have a winning mentality and are willing to go the extra mile to challenge the status quo
