About the role
We are looking for Senior Automation Engineers to join our Automation Solutions department. Our department is involved in the first stages of the production lifecycle, where we use our deep process understanding to make seamless integration of control systems into the facilities. We are currently working on some of the biggest pharmaceutical investments in our history, so it’s an exciting time to be part of NNE.

As a team, we integrate systems developed by others into the complex OT and IT layer of our customers. Your role will be key in the pharmaceutical projects we do, where PLC and SCADA solutions are an integral part of the deliveries. Occasionally, we also do detailed programming tasks where we are the supplier of automation solutions.

The systems we integrate range from Black- and Clean Utilities to robots, AGV’s, and dispensing, and covers many different production processes. You will be the link between vendors, process specialist and our customers.

How you might spend your days
As our new Senior Automation Engineer, you’ll be:

• Integrating vendor-based systems into existing or new facilities
  
• Integrating systems related to API processes as well as aseptic production equipment
  
• Working with SCADA and PLC solutions developed specifically for the purpose of standard deliveries
  
• Managing communication between our customers, IT, process engineers and vendors
  
• Designing and developing automation solutions both in a traditional manner, but also using new tools such as Digital Twins, AI, and automated design
  
• A part of our great team of 60 engaged and skilled automation engineers

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:

• Background as an engineer, technician, computer scientist or a similar degree
  
• At least 3 years of experience within designing and building automation solutions – preferable for the pharmaceutical industry
  
• Knowledge of automation and SCADA/PLC systems and their integrations
  
• Experience with some of the following control systems: SCADA: iFix/WinCC/Aveva/Ignition, PLC’s: Siemens, Allen Bradley
  
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in GMP and GAMP in connection with pharmaceutical production
  
• You speak and write English fluently
