Platform Engineer

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Platform Engineer to join us at our HQ in Islands Brygge—a converted Zeppelin hangar filled with quirky charm and exceptional humans.

Platform Engineers are the backbone of our technology infrastructure. You’ll be joining a team of 4 that is focused on empowering engineers by creating frictionless, self-service infrastructure and tooling: “paved roads” that make the right path the easy path. You'll work at the intersection of infrastructure and developer experience, shaping our approach to cloud architecture, Kubernetes operations, observability, and CI/CD.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain secure, testable, and reusable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), ensuring scalability and reliability in our cloud environments.

• Operate and improve our Kubernetes platform, enabling efficient orchestration, autoscaling and resiliency across services and workloads.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that promote fast, consistent and safe software delivery, while enabling engineering autonomy.

• Implement and evolve observability practices (metrics, logs, traces) and participate in on-call rotations, driving effective incident response and continuous reliability improvements.

• Enhance developer experience by creating internal tooling, self-service infrastructure, and clear documentation that reduce friction and promote paved paths.

• Ensure platform security and efficiency by managing IAM roles, secrets, network configurations, and cloud cost controls in alignment with best practices.

• Construct and maintain network infrastructure for both our platform and mobile core.
  
  
  
  

What You Bring:

• Proven experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).

• Good working experience with Kubernetes, from day-to-day operations to scaling and troubleshooting in production environments.

• A strong grasp of observability principles (metrics, logs, traces) and experience with tools like Grafana, Loki, or similar.

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that support fast, safe deployments.

• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals: VPCs, load balancers, routing, DNS and firewalls.

• Passion for improving developer experience through internal tooling, automation and documentation.

• A collaborative, pragmatic approach: you enjoy working across teams to enable others and reduce friction.

• Curiosity and drive to continuously improve systems, processes and your own skillset.
