About the role
Contributor Software Engineer is our entry level role for software engineers. In this role you would join one of our product teams and work in close collaboration with your more experienced team members to define and deliver solutions to the most valuable opportunities discovered by the team. Each team is fully responsible for one of our products and consists of a product manager, product designer, and 3-6 full stack software engineers, all located together and working with a shared goal and focus.

We think that you will be a good match if you are:

• Graduating during 2025 with a Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or similar
• Eager to work with full stack web development
• Ready to learn our tech stack, including Elm, Javascript/Typescript, Node.js, and MongoDB, with our support. Any previous experience of these technologies and web development in general is a big plus!
• Enjoying collaborating in a team environment at the office
• Interested in AI and how it can be implemented into our product
• Comfortable with English and excited to work in a multicultural and diverse team

Your First Year at PinMeTo:
7 Days: Your first week will be focused on onboarding, getting to know your team, and setting everything up for you to start contributing. You will have a dedicated onboarding buddy and the rest of the team to support you in this from day 1.

30 Days: Continuing in your first month you will work together with your team on small tasks, with a focus on learning about the codebase and technologies, product, and how the team works.

90 Days: A quarter in you will be more comfortable and ready to take on larger tasks, able to work more independently on your tasks while also increasing your participation in team activities.

365 Days: After a year you will be proficient in our full tech stack and able to be a core contributor to your team’s deliveries, well on your way towards the promotion for an Experienced Software Engineer role in the upcoming months.
