DESIGN ENGINEER
We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project with our client in the renewable industry.
Location: Mid Jutland, onsite 3 times a week.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Support the documentation of electrical panels in TC, drawings for converters, control panels, and junction boxes with ECN number, and raise status as required by the project
Review all drawings and make sure all documentation is according to guidelines
Request needed ECNs
Design & development of wind turbine mechanical components from concept to serial production, meeting design requirements for functionality, robustness, cost effectiveness etc.
Operate with an Innovative mindset and customer focus to deliver value
Identify validation and verification requirements
Specify realistic tolerances using GPS/GD&T.
Design for X. Ownership to ensure quality of deliverables. Perform quality reviews & focus on continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Experience as a Documentation Engineer
Experience in design of bolted/welded, sheet metal constructions
Experience within updating 3D on demand
Good knowledge of FMEA and risk assessments
Well versed in sheet metal manufacturing, fabrication and finishing processes
Manufacturing experience is added advantage.
Exposure to International standards on safety and mechanical design.
Highly skilled in 3D/2D CAD design using NX
Experience of ERP systems like SAP
Well versed in Product Design & development best practices
Experience of VAVE
Experience generating 2D drawings as per guideline
Experience with Teamcenter processes (adding ECNs, forward workflows etc.)
Able to add required specification documents
Able to request A9B numbers
Well organised and capable of meeting agreed deadlines
Person with good communication skills
Take own initiatives and ensure for results
Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away
Professional level of English - both oral and written
