We are looking for a data protection professional who won’t just oversee existing practices, but also play an active part in shaping how we strengthen and improve our work in this area. You will join an organization with a strong regulatory focus, where compliance is a top priority and where there is a genuine will and clear ambition to do things right.

Get an idea of the role
You will work with a range of different questions, act as a central stakeholder in various questions, participate in external networks and educate yourself, have close cooperation with other professionals, and lead a team of skilled and driven data protection specialists. This is a rare opportunity to work in an environment where the groundwork has been done, but where there is still room for creativity and to help shape Resurs’ transformation journey.

Key qualifications and requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with GDPR or data privacy, preferably as a DPO

• Master’s degree in law or related field

• Experience of working in a regulatory setting, such as within financial services or other compliance-driven industries, is highly valued

• Demonstrated deep subject matter expertise in GDPR and data protection regulations

• Fluent in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

You are confident in your own judgment, work independently, and take initiative to move things forward with structure and care. You are comfortable in a high-paced environment, with strong prioritization skills and enjoy leading others. The latter requires you to be skilled in communication and stakeholder management.
