Do you want a core position, pioneering our digital service excellence and building our technical support infrastructure from the ground up? And are you motivated by making a true impact from day one – and being a crucial part of ensuring the success of this new venture?
We are embarking on our digital transformation journey with digital products and IoT-enabled solutions – and if you thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere in a team where we learn and grow together, we might be looking for just you.
A brand-new team – with immense potential
Struers is a global company with a strong heritage, a large product portfolio within metallographic preparation, an insightful materialographic philosophy, and, most importantly, highly skilled and motivated employees.
At our Danish office in Ballerup, you will become part of the core of our brand-new Digital Transformation team, together with a Product Owner, a Scrum Master/Technical Lead and a Customer Success Manager. The team will grow in the future, but the four of you will set the standards and lay the foundation for the success of this area.
“This is a young and vibrant team with a focus on open dialogue, quick learning, adaption, and close collaboration – which are all crucial in these initial stages of building something completely from scratch,” says Alex Domenech, Head of Innovation.
Shape and implement our digital service operations from the ground up
As our first Technical support architect, you will architect and implement our entire digital service operations. Reporting directly to the Head of Innovation and working closely with our Customer Success Manager, Product and Development teams, you will create the foundation for how Struers delivers technical support for our new digital product portfolio.
More specifically, you will:
You will have the opportunity to visit global customers or our local offices for, e.g., training purposes. And if management is something you would like to get into, that might be a possibility if the area and the team keep growing – as we expect them to do.
You are tech-savvy, have a builder’s mindset and …
… thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, where you can navigate in the sudden change of otherwise well-laid plans. Also, you have great communication skills, whether it comes to internal stakeholders or external customers – both in writing, on the phone and face-to-face.
We wish to hire not only the right profile but also the right person, so your innovative mindset is crucial – and furthermore, we do hope that you bring:
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a methodical way
