On-site IT Supporter

We are rapidly growing our global business and are looking for an On-site IT Supporter for our local IT department. Saab Danmark is migrating to a standard Saab IT setup, making it necessary to expand the IT department with an IT Supporter acting on behalf of the global IT department. This job will require physical presence in Sønderborg. Your tasks IT support for employees. On-site support in Saab Danmark on behalf of the global IT organisation. Main part of the task will be from the user/client perspective. Installation of computers, telephones, and other client related hardware. Finding the right IT solutions for the Danish organisation to make them able to solve their tasks as good and fast as possible. This is done with focus on standard solutions provided by Saab. Support on maintenance tasks on locally installed hardware: printers, servers, switches, etc. Maintain documentation on the IT setup and provide the users with new instructions and guidelines. We are mainly supporting a Windows/Active Directory environment, but tasks on Linux environments may also show up. For security reasons Saab is mainly using On-site solutions. From day one you will be part of the project, working on getting Saab Danmark migrated to the standard Saab IT setup. The future task in the job will be formed by the outcome of the project, so you will have influence on how the job will evolve. Your profile We expect you to have an education as IT Supporter or an education with equivalent experience. A good interaction with our internal costumers is essential. We have employees from many countries, so communication internally is done in both Danish and English. You like to work in an environment where the conditions are changing fast, and therefore tasks may need to be re-prioritized based on the needs of the business. You will be part of small local IT team, so you must expect tasks within a wide range of IT topics. A flexible approach is a prerequisite. Security and documentation are areas of big importance for the company, so it also has to be for you. Driving license is a requirement. What can you expect from us?
