FLIGHT OPERATING OFFICER

SAS Flight Dispatch (CPHOW) is looking for a new employee

Due to increased workload, we are looking for a new employee for SAS Flight Dispatch.

SAS Flight Dispatch offers a position in a dynamic and often busy environment.

The task consists of preparing Flight Plans and associated documentation for all SAS intercontinental flights, as well as analysis and calculations of weight on range critical short routes. Flow Management and support for other SAS flights

Key Responsibilities

SAS Flight Dispatch is part of SAS Operations Control Center under the SAS Common functions organization and has the following mission:

Flight Planning

• Flow Management
• Flight Monitoring
• Operational Support for Pilots
• Operational Support for Operational Management

Qualifications

Professional qualifications:

Valid Scandinavian FOO (K) license, or equivalent. Valid ATPL certificate or ATPL theory.

(if the applicant only has ATPL theory, an Air Traffic Controller Application test from the Danish Transport Authority must be passed before permanent employment can take place)

Relevant experience from the aviation industry.

Fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish) and English.

The positions are full-time (100%).

Working hours are rotating on 3-shift shifts. SAS Flight Dispatch is staffed around the clock, every day of the year.

Place of work: SAS, Amager Strandvej 392, 2770 Kastrup.

Salary according to the Lederne/SALDA collective agreement.

Start date: September 1, 2025
