ROLE DESCRIPTION
To ensure that SBS Friction A/S operations can operate smoothly, you will be responsible for securing the necessary materials and services at the best possible terms and conditions and coordinating one team member, constantly collaborating with Purchasing Global Central Function in Italy.

RESULT AREA / MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Sourcing and Procurement: develops and implements sourcing strategies for assigned categories/commodities, ensuring the procurement of high-quality materials at competitive prices, according to the guidelines of Purchasing Global Central Function in Italy.
• Supplier Management: builds and maintains effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring a professional, ethical, and consistent approach.
• Negotiation: to negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals.
• Contract Management: responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts with suppliers. (such as NDA, Nomination Letter, Letter of Intent, Development Agreement).
• Production readiness: supervises suppliers’ industrialization phase and supports logistics to ensure timely delivery of prototypes and PPAP samples, managing the daily purchasing operations.
• Market Analysis: monitors overall market trends, competitor strategies, and suppliers to identify risks and opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: works closely with internal departments such as platforms, operations, technical department, and quality to align procurement activities with business needs, as well as with Purchasing Global Central Function for constant alignment.
• Compliance: ensures compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures during supplier negotiations and contract awarding.
• Performance Monitoring : keeps track of the performance of suppliers (in terms of cost efficiency, quality, service level, and ESG criteria) and procurement activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5 years of experience in Purchasing
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Economics
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; fluency in Danish is a plus
• Proactive mindset.
