A Snapshot of Your Day

Imagine joining a dynamic team where your expertise in procurement drives the success of critical projects. As an Operational Purchaser for Projects, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Suppliers, and other partners to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services. Your day will involve developing procurement schedules, managing supplier relationships, and resolving any issues that arise, all while maintaining a focus on quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance. Your role is pivotal in ensuring smooth project execution and contributing to the overall success of Siemens Energy Denmark.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Collaborate with project teams to identify material and service requirements, ensuring resources are available to meet project achievements.
• Evaluate, select, and establish strong relationships with suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Create and process purchase orders, monitor and track orders, and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize procurement efficiency and enhance procurement systems.
• Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies and legal regulations, maintaining accurate records of procurement processes and supplier performance.

What You Bring

• Proven experience (3 years) in operational purchasing, preferably within a project-based environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and social skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, MDG or equivalent).
• Proven understanding of supply chain processes and project management principles.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
