Engage in pivotal discussions with your team, setting the course for the day and monitoring progress on active negotiations. In collaboration with the corporate Merger & Acquisitions team, you'll sharpen strategies for upcoming discussions and plan for seamless integrations. Networking with industry frontrunners and investment circles will also be key, as you lead your team through the intricacies of each transaction, from inception to full integration.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Strategic Acquisitions & Partnerships: Leadership in the identification and execution of essential partnerships and acquisitions, resulting in a significant boost in digital revenue
• Portfolio Optimization: Oversight of strategic divestitures and acquisitions, with a focus on aligning the portfolio for growth and innovation
• Decision-Making & Integration: Expertise in the selection, negotiation, and seamless integration of strategic acquisitions, contributing to the enhancement of the Siemens Energy ecosystem
• Performance Enhancement: Improvement of team performance and refinement of internal processes, ensuring effective implementation of investments and strategies, and establishing new industry benchmarks

What You Bring

• Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates possessing an advanced degree
• Private Equity Expertise: Over 5 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or a similar high-stakes environment, with a comprehensive understanding of the investment value chain essential for guiding strategic partnerships and acquisitions
• Networking Prowess and Sector Insight: Established connections within the investment banking and digital grid sectors, providing valuable insights to identify strategic opportunities
• Leadership and Innovation: Exceptional leadership skills combined with an entrepreneurial mindset, enabling effective navigation of diverse teams through transitions, fostering a culture of innovation, and achieving outstanding results
