Ecommerce Manager

About the role 

As the Ecommerce manager at WALLHACK, you will be accountable for the revenue growth of wallhack.com in our markets, with emphasis on the US, Japan and EU countries. This is a hands-on position where you will manage the end-to-end management of our website focusing on driving conversions and revenue. It requires dynamic abilities to blend creative and analytics to lead the planning and execution of site merchandising, promotions, and special offers that appeal to our consumers. You will partner with relevant stakeholders across product, creative and operations.

It is expected that you are responsible for ecommerce site performance and delivering on forecasted sales and KPI’s across our markets. You will plan, scope and drive revenue-generating activations in alignment with overall commercial objectives. Moreover, you are on top of KPIs, understand how our products are trending and can proactively articulate what interventions are needed. 

You will need to be proactive in communicating, collaborating and requesting resources from multiple stakeholders inside and outside of wallhack. It is key that the Ecommerce manager leverages automation and AI in their workflow to optimize efficiency and output.   


Key responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute initiative roadmaps to drive growth and maximize sales on website

  • In collaboration with CMO, align ecommerce initiatives with overall business objectives

  • Identify new onsite opportunities proactively and contribute ideas for improving customer experience and increasing conversion rates

  • Closely collaborate with the creative team to develop the right Brand experience and share best practice

Ecommerce website management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce website, ensuring functionality, performance, and user experience

  • Update the website with promotional details, product information, and other relevant content

  • Conduct a/b tests of on-site content placement (merchandising) and other performance related tests

  • Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization

  • Implement SEO best practices to optimize product visibility and search rankings, leveraging keywords, metadata, and other SEO tactics to drive organic traffic and improve site performance. 

Promotions, upselling and campaign management

  • Plan and execute paid campaigns, seasonal promotions, and product launches, collaborating with the creative team and in third party consultancies

  • Collaborate with our agency on optimizing our CRM efforts with focus on upselling and enhancing the customer experience through a/b testing segments, campaigns, flows, messaging and creative 

Reporting and analysis 

  • Generate regular reports on ecommerce performance, including sales trends, conversion rates, and customer behavior (journey mapping).

  • Analyze data to identify insights, trends, and opportunities for optimization.

  • Proactively provide actionable recommendations to enhance ecommerce performance and achieve business goals. Implement such recommendations/best practices in real-time

Key skills & qualifications

  • Proven experience managing and optimizing Shopify stores, including theme customization (no code), app integrations, and troubleshooting.

  • High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets with strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from data.

  • Ability to monitor and analyze website KPIs, conduct A/B testing, and implement optimization strategies to improve performance and conversions.

  • Strong understanding of customer behavior, UX best practices, and digital merchandising to enhance site experience and drive sales.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally with creative, product, and operations teams.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools, email marketing platforms, and automation solutions to support campaign execution and customer engagement.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, web analytics, and performance tracking tools such as Google Analytics and GA4.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
