Among our clients are major players in the media, retail, and logistics industries.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a meticulous and dedicated QA Engineer to join our team, focused on developing and enhancing CUE Print, Stibo DX's cutting-edge print production software. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards of our print solutions, which are used by the world’s most prominent businesses to manage and produce printed content with precision and efficiency. You will collaborate with a diverse global team, leveraging agile methodologies to implement testing protocols that maintain the reliability, integrity, and performance of CUE Print. Your work will have a direct impact on the software’s functionality, ensuring that our customers experience flawless performance in every print job.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute test cases, considering technical capabilities, workflows, and usability in print production. Conduct thorough quality assessments and coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with engineers and product owners to challenge assumptions and advocate for customer satisfaction and high-quality standards. Maintain a comprehensive repository of test cases and scenarios for regression, functional, and performance testing to support continuous integration and delivery. Track and verify defects and fixes, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and end-user needs. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, and potential quality assurance issues. Stay current with new testing tools and strategies to improve the testing process and product quality.Required skills and experienceWe seek a QA Engineer who has a strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and is skilled in designing and executing test plans to ensure that our print production software meets the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have: Expertise in Test Design: Ability to craft detailed test designs, including test plans, cases, and scripts, ensuring that the print production software functions as intended and is free of defects. Risk-based Testing: Proficiency in prioritizing testing efforts based on potential risks and impact, ensuring effective use of testing resources. Familiarity with TestRail and Jira: Practical experience with tools such as TestRail for organizing test cases and tracking results, along with Jira for issue tracking and project management. Gherkin: Experience with Gherkin language to write structured, clear acceptance criteria, enabling automated testing scenarios. You should have a solid grasp of both the software development lifecycle and software testing lifecycle. Experience with agile methodologies is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as a proactive mindset. You should be capable of working independently, taking initiative, and driving quality assurance activities without close supervision. ISTQB Foundation certification (a plus but not required). Knowledge about the media industry (a plus but not required).
