Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Waste Management Transportation Specialist & Systems Administrator to join our team at Straive. This role combines waste management logistics expertise with system (ERP) administration, ensuring efficient transportation operations while maintaining and optimizing systems for supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation Management:

  • Design transportation logistics solution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Optimize transportation routes, carriers, and scheduling to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Work closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve transportation-related issues.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for transportation efficiency and implement process improvements.

System Administration:

  • Manage and maintain systems (Oracle, Sage and others) related to supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Configure and troubleshoot applications to support transportation and facility management.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to enhance functionalities and reporting.
  • Provide training and support to end-users for supply chain modules.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in bulk transportation management, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong expertise in ERP systems, database administration, or enterprise software management.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, carrier management, and logistics best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) or related modules.
  • Knowledge of SAP, SQL, or data analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with logistics automation and digital transformation initiatives.
