As a logistics operator, you are an essential part of Swapfiets's supply and logistics team. Your primary focus is safe transportation of bicycles and spare parts between the warehouse in Odense and our stores, ensuring that our members in Odense, Aarhus and Aalborg always have a functioning bike and can enjoy a worry-free ride. While the role allows for independent work, you’ll also establish a close connection with our friendly warehouse lead, Daniel. Together, you will create a great and safe working environment, ensuring smooth and well-planned daily operations.

You will be a part of Swapfiets Denmark, with 100 employees in our four cities, and Swapfiets globally with ~1.500 employees in 8 countries across Europe.

Your responsibilities:

• Independently operate our VW Crafter van to transport bicycles and spare parts between our warehouse and our stores. You are expected to drive at least 3 days per week;

• Process the incoming and outgoing deliveries of bicycles, including loading and unloading the trucks;

• Ordering and inventory management of spare parts, by using the Kanban system;

• Controlling of bicycle stock at the warehouse, ordering keys and battery management

• Help with up-keeping, cleaning, handling, storing and organization tasks within the warehouse;

• Collaborate closely with the warehouse team in Odense, our logistics lead in CPH and the store managers in Odense, Aalborg and Aarhus.

Your profile:

• Valid driving license (Category B) and driving experience;

• Forklift license is a must.

• Proficiency in both Danish and English is preferred;

• Prior experience in logistics operations is advantageous, but not essential as we provide comprehensive training;

• Accord Dangereux Routier (ADR) is a plus (European regulations concerning the international transport of dangerous goods by road);

• Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation;

• A positive “go-to” attitude and a sense of pride in delivering exceptional service to our customers;

• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
