We are currently looking for a motivated volunteer/intern to assist our sales and marketing team, from May 1st, 15 to 25 hours a week until start of September (or as decided internally with team)

Your Role

Join TechBBQ as a Marketing and Sales Assistant and contribute to our mission of empowering startups and driving innovation in Scandinavia. This role offers a unique opportunity to kick-start your career, expand your network, and immerse yourself in the exciting world of tech startups. Working closely with our experienced team, you'll play a vital role in the Marketing and Sales Departments . We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer focusing on customer service and direct ticket sales. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant, fast-paced setting while contributing to the success of one of the most exciting tech events.

Your Tasks May Include

• Providing exceptional customer service to event attendees, primarily via email
• Assisting with direct sales activities, including outreach, research, ticket sales and brand ambassadorship
• Handling customer inquiries email and in-person with professionalism and efficiency
• Supporting the team with event setup, registration, and on-site logistics
• Collaborating with the marketing and sales teams to execute communication strategies
• Gathering and relaying customer feedback to help improve our events and services
  
  

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and a strong desire to help others
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in customer service or sales is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
• Passion for technology and startups is highly desirable
