In this category role, you will shape the marketing direction and strategy across the flat roof window category. You will be responsible for driving growth, profitability, and the implementation of a strong category strategy across Region North.

Your expertise will guide our Region (North) towards innovative and high impact category initiatives and thereby drive exceptional market category performance.

You will be at the forefront of commercializing strategic initiatives, leveraging your industry experience and market insights to create impactful local plans.

Your leadership will inspire cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and excellence.

For this role an entrepreneurial mindset will be crucial in strengthening the current market position in the VELUX Flat Roof Window category in region north. This is instrumental both from an internal perspective but also externally, where we face a much more competitive environment compared to the sloped roof window business.

You will be based in either Hørsholm or in GBI and some travel can be expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a regional commercial strategy and associated tactics that drive profitable growth and align with company objectives. Identify in-market opportunities and anticipate customer needs to set the course for success.
  • Market Insight: Utilize your strong analytical skills to gain deep market insights and translate these into actionable commercial strategies that position the flat roof window category competitively within North Region and provide insightful input to Global plans.
  • Category Management: Lead execution of FRW product launches and commercialization efforts within North Region, ensuring they meet market requirements and deliver exceptional value.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, specifically with the global Product and Innovation team and with the Regional Sales team, facilitating cross-functional teamwork and impactful plans.
  • Financial Acumen: Track financial performance of the Category in the Region and optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability, using your financial expertise for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset, and is not afraid of a challenging market environment requiring smart and out of the box thinking.

You have a relevant degree and extensive experience in senior marketing, strategy or product management.

You have proven Marketing and Commercial skills with track record in driving growth and profitability, enabled by strong strategic thinking, commercial expertise and problem-solving skills.

Excellent leadership and communication abilities are essential, as is a passion for sustainability and integrating environmental considerations into business practices.

Solid financial understanding and experience with budgeting and financial analysis are required.

Thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while upholding high ethical standards and integrity is also crucial.
