We invite you to apply for the position of Bid Manager in Offshore Sales at Vestas Northern and Central Europe (NCE). In this position, you will play a vital role in advancing our mission to build a sustainable future by managing offshore sales projects and employing innovative tools and strategies for smooth and effective operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Bid Managers and Sales Coordinators
  • Encourage a spirit of teamwork and collaboration among team members
  • Support cross-regional tasks such as market intelligence reporting, financial reporting, and cross-functional resource planning
  • Execute business improvement initiatives and lessons learned projects

Qualifications

  • Established knowledge in bid management along with support for sales efforts
  • Proficient in guiding and organizing team dynamics
  • Proficient in conveying ideas and engaging with others
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Competencies

  • A Masters / Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a related field (Business Administration, Sales, Supply Chain or Marketing)
  • Have at least 5 years' experience in a complex sales environment in a sales department focusing on large-scale business-to-business projects or a consultancy background in wind energy
  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English, with a focus on verbal and written communication skills
  • Deep commercial insight
  • Proficient business and value chain understanding

The primary work location will be at one of our offices in Aarhus (DK), Copenhagen (DK) or Hamburg (DE).
