Senior Internal Auditor

Right now, we’re searching for a Senior Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit team at our head office in Stockholm – are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?

Please note that the majority of the steps in this recruitment process will require physical presence at our Stockholm office.

The role
Internal Audit assists management and the Board of Directors of Viaplay Group by providing an independent assessment of governance, risk management, and controls processes. We report to the Audit Committee and are a team of two – this Senior Internal Auditor role and the Head of Internal Audit. We audit how risks are managed, and our scope covers Viaplay and its activities across the Group.

Your main responsibilities will be to perform all parts of an audit:

• Develop audit programs for audits you are assigned to conduct
• Perform fieldwork and document work performed
• Identify suitable recommendations and write audit reports, incl. reporting to auditees
• Follow up on status of agreed actions
• Support in development of yearly risk assessment and audit plan
• Establish and maintain a network of business contacts within Viaplay

What we’re looking for
In order to thrive in this role, we do believe you have experience in the following.

As Viaplay’s operation is continuously evolving, the Senior Internal Auditor’s curiosity and willingness to learn and adapt are essential to succeed here as well as the ability to be flexible and proactive. As we are a small team, you will mostly be working on projects by yourself, and therefore, must be able to work independently and take ownership of assigned internal audit activities. The right candidate has a high level of integrity and trustworthiness. Strong interpersonal skills are important as well as the ability to quickly understand and build trust in different contexts across the organization.

Successful candidates also meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of internal audit, risk management or internal control experience
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Well-organized with a structured way of working
• Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders across the organization

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Experience from working at Big 4
• Experience from working in a larger, dynamic, preferably Nordic organization
• Fluency in Swedish
