VIKING’s Digital Department comprises 65 dedicated colleagues, located in Denmark, India, Thailand, Bulgaria, Singapore, China and Norway. We are responsible for VIKING’s global IT environment, using SAP, Microsoft and Service Now as our major platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Expertise in technical configuration and customization of Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Field Service modules to support internal business operations and service teams.
• Develop and maintain scalable solutions using C#, custom plugins, Power Automate, and Power Apps to meet business requirements.
• Configure and optimize Work Orders, Case Management, Resource Scheduling, SLAs, Service Agreements, and Field Technician Management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement end-to-end solutions.
• Configure and optimize Universal Resource Scheduling (URS) to improve workforce utilization and real-time service planning.
• Integrate Dynamics 365 CE with other internal enterprise systems using APIs or middleware platforms.
• Implement Application Lifecycle Management best practices through solution layering, version control, and automated deployments using CI/CD tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing technical support and enhancements.
• Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to user training and handover processes.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE, with strong focus on Customer Service and Field Service.
• Proven experience configuring and supporting Work Orders, Cases, Queues, Bookable Resources, Service Calendars, and Service Territories.
• Strong coding skills in C#, JavaScript, and familiarity with the Dynamics 365 SDK.
• Advanced skills in Power Platform – including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Experience with resource scheduling optimization, route planning, and mobile service execution.
• Integration experience with third-party platforms, REST APIs, and Azure tools (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions).
• Understanding of enterprise-grade application lifecycle management and DevOps practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage business users and translate needs into technical delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Certifications in Dynamics 365 Customer Service or Field Service.
• Experience in internal IT environments with enterprise application management.
• Familiarity with connected field service, IoT integrations, or customer self-service portals is a plus.
• Exposure to enterprise reporting tools such as Power BI for service performance dashboards.
