About the Role:
Role: Senior IT Operations Engineer
Location: Lyngby, Denmark
Requirements:
4 - 5 years of related experience in a Senior IT support role
Knowledge of Supporting and Troubleshooting Windows Client and Server operating systems
Familiarity with Meraki & Cisco Technology
Understanding of network protocols (VLAN, QOS, WAN & LAN) and SAN technology
Experience with DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Office, O365, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
Deployment of custom OS images and experience in virtual environments
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and maintain documentation
Strong communication and customer service skills
Fluency in English and Danish
Key Accountabilities
Server / Network Rooms:
Racking equipment & provisioning hardware
Client OS Encryption & Security Management
Active Directory Object and GPO Management
File Server & DFS Management
Break fix of Servers, desktops, laptops, devices & peripherals
Troubleshooting performance issues and liaising with OEM partners
Setup, Deployment & Support:
Configuration and deployment of OS images
Liaising with OEM partners for support
Client & Server OS Encryption & Security Management
Break Fix & Support:
Break fix of desktops, laptops, devices & peripherals
Smart hands for central printing services
Troubleshooting performance issues and liaising with OEM partners
Familiarity with networking and supported operating systems
Performing maintenance repair and system overhauls
Asset Tracking:
Tracking all hardware and software in asset database
Audits, inventory management, and maintenance tracking
Working with procurement for goods receipting
Networking:
Support for Lab Network infrastructure
Networking knowledge and infrastructure connectivity
Experience with Meraki, Arista, and Cisco
Software:
Deployment of 3rd party software, utilities, and drivers
Virtual machine provisioning and maintenance
Knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Virtual Manager & Hyper-V Networking
Infrastructure Maintenance and patching
Firmware updates
