Tech Lead / Senior React Native Developer

Zenegy is a dynamic and innovative fintech company, providing web and mobile solutions within the financial sector.

We’re looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Senior React Native Developer for our talented mobile development team, both for driving our projects and acting as a mentor for the team’s junior developers. With report to the Product Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead development projects: You have the necessary overview of the end-to-end delivery of mobile applications developed in React Native, ensuring the use of best practices and coding standards.
• Technical team leadership: You’re the technical mentor for the development team, ensuring high-quality deliveries, as well as knowledge and competence sharing to and within the team.
• React Native development: You actively participate in major technical and functional development – because you love hands-on and delivering together with your team.
• Technical expertise: Together with the team, you ensure that the architecture, design/UX and development using React Native is scalable, maintainable and stable, and a beauty to behold and use.
• Code reviews: You frequently review code – both to ensure quality and provide constructive feedback to the team.
• Collaboration: You work closely with other teams – including UX/UI designers, Product Managers and QA – in order to deliver a top-notch user experience.
• Problem-solving: You address technical challenges and introduce innovative solutions to improve both functionality and performance.
• Being up-to-date: You have a passion for React Native, as well as for trends within mobile development at large.
• Agile ceremonies: You participate in agile ceremonies – including sprint planning and daily stand-ups – ensuring everything is on track.

Core requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or software engineering.
• 5 years of experience within mobile application development, with a focus on React Native.
• A proven track record within leadership and mentoring.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, and familiarity with JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• A thorough understanding of mobile development processes (iOS and Android).
• A champion of problem-solving, and very detail-oriented.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills towards both team members and stakeholders.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with Native development for iOS and Android.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Knowledge of cloud services and analytics tools.
• A contributor to open-source projects.
