Senior Risk Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll provide expert guidance on credit risk decisions and liquidity management. You will be responsible for calculating credit exposure on structured deals, setting and optimizing credit limits, and monitoring credit risk exposures. You will also be part of negotiating credit terms and negotiating framework agreements. Additionally, you will assess collateral risk through variation and initial margin calculations, set and monitor collateral limits, perform collateral stress testing and scenario analysis, and report on any breaches in accordance with policy.

You’ll be part of the newly established 1st line Risk Management in Trading & Revenue where, together with your colleagues, you will guide the business and optimize credit and liquidity risks within the mandates assigned. As a team, we enjoy a collaborative environment and engage actively with many internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll play an important role in:

• Providing expert guidance on credit risk decisions and liquidity management

• Setting and optimizing 1st line credit limits within overall mandates

• Calculating, monitoring and reporting credit risk exposures, ensuring transparency and compliance with limits

• Negotiating agreements and managing credit terms with new counterparties and maintaining broker relationship

• Calculating and monitoring collateral risks and liquidity limits

• Perform collateral stress testing and scenario analysis.

To succeed in the role, you:

• Have experience in credit and liquidity risk management within a trading environment at a major bank, energy company, or corporation

• Have a master’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or similar

• Have solid analytical skills combined with a proactive and engaging attitude towards solving complex cases in a changing environment

• Have a strong understanding of financial markets, trading venues, products etc.

• Are a detail-oriented team-player with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills

• Embrace working in a dynamic work environment, as Ørsted is currently undergoing significant changes.
